Hi reisende! Let’s go to München at Christmas time.
München is the largest city of Bavaria. On December, under snow it looks really beautiful. If you are in December you can visit the Christkindlmärkte (Christmas Market). The main characteristics of the city are the impressive architecture and its famous festival “the Oktoberfest”.

At the centre of the city is Marienplatz. Near from Marienplatz we can visit Frauenkirche. It is the most famous Gothic cathedral in München. El Theatinerkirche ó St. Kajetan is a baroque church. Art and museums: Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek y la Pinakothek der Moderne.
Are you cold or starving? … Take a walk arround Viktualienmarkt (Goods market) You can taste a wonderful cheese, Weißwurst with Brezn (or pretzel) and drink a larger beer. What about Bavarian beer …Hofbräuhaus is the most anciest brewery established in 1589 by Wilhelm V
SIGHTSEEING TOURS : Neuschwanstein Castle
We can found the great castle of Neuschwanstein from Munich in 2 hours by train. The journey is paceful and the landscape is really beautiful.What about the castle? its style is romanticism and it was build in the nineteen century by the king Ludwig II. Curiosity: the castel became an inspiration for Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.
